ANOTHER UPDATE!

Once again, it's been a long time since I last updated...nobody is reading this but me anyways...
In regards to my previous note about Dagger and Coin. It did not pick up. I only finished the first book, couldn't get into it.
I then moved on to Red Rising from Pierce Brown. If you check my Top Ten link above, you will see what I thought about it. AWESOME READ. Honestly I thought I was starting a fantasy book. I've never read anything but fantasy for nearly 20years, and I don't have a strong desire to change that just yet. This book is not fantasy, it is more Scifi. But I loved it all the same.
After Red Rising I started Brent Week's Lightbringer. I have been waiting awhile for this one. Waiting until he finished writing the rest of the books. And since he was ready to finish this year, I thought I could start and slowly read. I even separated it with another series I will mentioned below. Well, these books were too good. I devoured them too quickly! Once I have finished the series I have no doubt they will jump into my Top10.
To slow down my reading of Lightbringer, I also got Mark Lawrences Book of the Ancestor. But just like Lightbringer, I liked these books too much and read them too fast! It wasn't quite top10 good like Lightbringer, but damn it was close. I have "5 Honorable Mentions", and I will need to debate whether or not it deserves a spot there.
After those 2 I moved on to another author I had already liked. Anthony Ryan. You can find his Raven's Shadow in my honorable mentioned. So I picked up his Draconis Memoria. Unfortuantely for me it did not have the same affect on me the previous books did. I only ended up reading the first book before I decided to start a different one. I've read some bad books before, and this definitely wasn't a bad book. It just didn't resonate with me.
So onto the present! I am currently reading The Traitor Son by Miles Cameron. And it's great. Similiar to Lawrence, this might deserve a spot in honorable mentioned. Maybe not top10 worthy, but definitely an awesome and fun book.
