Currently Reading: Shadows of the Apt - Adrian Tchaikovsky

I got about a dozen chapters in and couldn't get into it. Beetle men, Wasp guys, Ant people....some weird stuff going on. Despite that the story did nothing. It starts in a war, some battle. They run from it. Main POV goes home and talks to people. More bigger battles foreshadowed. But the first one left a lot to be desired. I may eventually come back to it. But there's a lot of other books out there to try.
